With the holidays over and the start of the new school year upon us, now is a great
time to get your child(ren) involved in a regular exercise routine! Whether they be
new or lapsed members all are very welcome to the weekly White’s Cross GAA
hurling and football coaching sessions.
These sessions have now re-commenced again after a well-earned two week break
at the end of August. Training currently takes place each Friday evening at the
White’s Cross GAA grounds from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. In these sessions boys
and girls from 5 years up to 9 years are facilitated, with groups divided by age.
Under the guidance of a team of coaches including Richie Sherlock, Martin Kelleher,
Michelle Whooley, Sean Coughlan, Paul Harte, Conor Kelleher and others, the
participants learn the skills of Gaelic football and hurling in a fun environment and
simultaneously get valuable physical exercise in! Contact Michelle on 087 2243877
for additional details or any queries.
For those aged 10 years to 12 years inclusive Ciaran Allen, Ger Hayes and Rick
Burke are taking weekly sessions also but times are subject to change due to games
etc. – contact Ciarán at 086 3662914 for more details.
