White’s Cross GAA on tour in Croke Park

A great day for the Cork Senior Ladies Footballers in Croke Park in September and there were 26 juveniles and 3 adults from White’s Cross GAA club supporting the team (and especially the goalkeeper Elaine Harte from White’s Cross).
Everyone had a great day out where we left at 11am from the clubhouse and arrived back at Hennessy’s Petrol station at 10pm ; tired bodies , tired voices but memories that will last forever!
A special thanks to Conor Kelleher for all his efforts in the planning and organisation of the day out.
A few photos can be seen below of the WX gang at GAA HQ.

Over the summer months White’s Cross presented a player of the week medal.

 WEEK 1

The first medal went to our under 6 player Jack Mehmet.  Jack has settled into the club very well and it was his attitude and willingness to learn that earned Jack this medal.  Jack has recently broken his arm – we all wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back at training soon.

The under 8 medal went to Lily O’Riordan.  Lily is a vital part of the Whites Cross under 8 team.  She is a stylish footballer and hurler who is equally skilful in defence or attack.
