Sponsored Mountain Climb

As we face into the holiday period it can be safely predicted that many of us will start into 2012 wishing to knock ourselves back into shape after the excesses of the holiday season. To help kick-start this action for our adult sides White’s Cross GAA is organising a sponsored mountain walk – not at any aul’ mountain mind you! Thus on Saturday January 21st 2012 both junior panels will climb Ireland’s highest mountain Carrauntuohill. Watch out for further up-dates of this climb on the Club’s Facebook page and if any of the players come seeking sponsorship over the next while be sure to support this worthy cause.
