Ryan’s SuperValu Supporting White’s Cross GAA

Support from Ryan’s SuperValu Glanmire

Dear Member / Friend of White’s Cross GAA,

We are delighted to invite you to support the following Fundraising Scheme to promote Underage GAA in Partnership with Ryan’s SuperValu Group:

Ryan’s Supervalu supermarkets in Grange, Togher and Glanmire have been actively promoting the development of underage sport in Cork and have been generously supporting White’s Cross GAA for some years now.

This is a unique opportunity for both Ryan’s SuperValu and you, as members/friends of White’s Cross GAA to raise much needed funds for the development of the game in your area. Initially this is a pilot scheme and should it be successful, it is hoped to run this scheme for the next three years.

We are asking you, as a club member/friend, to register with Ryan’s SuperValu by filling out the form here with your Real Rewards fob number, indicating White’s Cross GAA as the club you wish to support, and to drop it in to Customer Service at Ryan’s SuperValu.

For those who are not already members of the Real Rewards scheme and do shop at Ryan’s SuperValu we kindly ask you to fill out a Real Rewards application form the next time you are shopping there – when submitting your form at Customer Service please be sure to state White’s Cross GAA as your club.

From July 14th to August 31st 2014 inclusive each time a member, who has signed up to support White’s Cross GAA, uses their Real Rewards cards in Ryan’s SuperValu Stores they will be making a contribution to the club. Ryan’s Supervalu have agreed to pay the equivalent of 1% of the spend for all Real Rewards card holders who have nominated a club for this scheme.  This will NOT affect your Real Rewards 5% off, or other benefits.

Our aim is to raise in excess of €2,000 for White’s Cross GAA club and to ensure that we hit our target, we would urge you to ask your friends and family to support this scheme by registering and using their Real Rewards Card. Additional sign up forms will be available in Store at Customer Service.

You can download the form here

Remember it costs you nothing and doesn’t infringe on other benefits…It can however prove of great assistance to our fundraising in

White’s Cross GAA.

Míle buíochas daoibh go léir don tacaíocht.

Hurling 20/20

Give your views on the future of Hurling
GAA President, Liam O’Neill established the Hurling 2020 Committee to look at the game of hurling and to submit proposals for change as appropriate to ensure the improvement of the game over the next 20 years.
The committee, under the Chairmanship of former All-Ireland Senior Hurling winning manager Liam Sheedy (Tipperary) has begun the process of consulting widely within the Association at all levels and with GAA supporters to ascertain the areas which require the most immediate attention. With this in mind, Hurling 2020 have launched a survey which will allow all participants to be entered in to a draw for 2 tickets to the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final.
This survey is a key part of the consultation process and its aim is to collate the feedback from the hurling community about the game as it stands and what you would like to see in its future.
Your submission to this survey will form the basis of the committee’s report in the autumn of 2014 with a view to tabling motions as required to the 2015 GAA Annual Congress.
